What is a scented wax melt?
Wax melts are a home fragrance product. High quality oils are suspended in wax and when melted they release the fragrance.
How do I use my wax melts?
We recommend using a large tea light burner designed for use with wax tarts for the best scent throw. There are also many plug in wax warmers available which are also recommended to use with our melts.
We also recommend not over filling your warmer as too much wax will not give you an optimum scent throw. The wax at the top of the dish is cooler than at the bottom of the dish and can trap the fragrance and prevent it from evaporating and releasing as much scent.
What are pies, shots, mini loaves?
These are just different terms to describe the way and size your wax is presented and packaged.
- A melt pot is our classic tub of scented wax. Cut into four or six pieces and use a chunk at a time.
- A clamshell
is a resealable package of 6 cubes of wax, just pop half or a whole cube in your warmer and close the lid back to seal in the fragrance.
- Mini loaves
are a soap sized slab of wax that you cut into chunks. You will get approx 8 chunks from a mini loaf.
- A wax pie
is our largest sized tub of wax. They come in a resealable container and can be cut into as many pieces as you prefer. A great way to make sure you have plenty of your favourite scent.
We also sell midi loaves and full size loaves along with some gorgeous shaped scented wax melts. Check our wax shop
for current stock.
Why do the colours vary between batches?
We choose to keep the colours and effects changing within our wax melts for variety.
